Help us raise funds to purchase an adapted minibus that can accommodate a driver and 14 passengers or a driver, 4 passengers and 3 wheelchair passengers (other combinations are possible) allowing us flexibility to transport our young people. Our Wednesday DRAMA sessions will be up and running again next week, Education Transport have agreed to drop the young people off at Possilpoint Community Centre after school. We can’t wait to have our young people back to enjoy the world of make believe!
Our pilot scheme for a group of young adults aged 18-20 to enjoy “a night out” starts tonight thanks to funding granted by Better Breaks. They will be enjoying a game of 10 pin bowling tonight at Springfield Quay. May the best bowler win!
Some good news, our Thursday sessions restarts this week – we see the return of games, art with Pearl from Concrete Gardens and aromatherapy sessions by Jean from Ripple Effect. To help alleviate transport issue we have moved the session to Ashton School.
Project Ability have organised an Art Awards Ceremony at St.Andrews in the square from 7pm – 10pm where our DASH members who completed their Explore Awards will be presented with their certificate. Our swimming and indoor team games will restart on 6 October 2015, 3.30pm at ASHTON school to help alleviate the Education Services transport issue.
